Huge Success in Terms of Multilingual Hospital Service

The Ministry of Health has been taking measures to increase the number of foreign-language staff in hospitals in cities where health tourism has been especially high in recent years, in response to increased international interest. Turkey is a country that recognizes the importance of health tourism. Each year, the number of personnel who can communicate in English or Arabic increases, especially in public hospitals.

The International Patient Care Call Center is also available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. There are 28 translators at the call center in question that communicate with foreign patients in 6 different languages and coordinate their transportation to the nearest medical center. The call center supports English, German, French, Russian, Arabic, and Persian. Antalya is the city with the most calls to the call center, which can be reached for free at 0850 288 38 38.

In the near future, this initiative, which is being carried out jointly by the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, is expected to provide service in 17 different languages and carry the line to a point where it can be called from both domestically and overseas.

Today, private hospitals in Turkey offer services to foreign patients in a variety of languages. We've put together a list of some of these hospitals for you.
