Emergency Medicine

It is the unit where the first diagnosis and treatment services are provided in cases of traffic accident, trauma, respiratory distress and similar emergency intervention.

Family Medicine

To assist in matters such as taking necessary precautions for protection from diseases, diagnosis and treatment of diseases; It is the duty of the family doctor to follow the treatment process and organize it on behalf of the patient.

Anatomy

The forms of organs and formations and their relationship with each other are within the scope of this science. Regional anatomy is divided into microscopic anatomy, systematic anatomy, pathological anatomy, developmental anatomy, radiological anatomy, functional anatomy, comparative anatomy.

Anesthesia and Reanimation

Specialists of this branch are called anesthesia technicians. They are responsible for providing the anesthetic support needed before or during the diagnosis and treatment procedures. It is also about this unit to follow the vital functions of the patient during the surgery, to wake the patient by stopping the anesthesia drugs when the surgery is completed, and to continue the follow-up.

Brain and Nerve Surgery

It deals with surgical treatments in spine, brain, nerve and spinal cord diseases. It operates in branches such as vascular surgery, brain and spinal cord tumors, trauma surgery, epilepsy surgery, pediatric neurosurgery, peripheral nerve surgery.

Biostatistics and Medical Informatics

Purpose of this unit; to provide Biostatistics training to healthcare professional groups, to produce publications of international quality, to achieve maximum success in medical informatics services.

Pediatric Surgery

It focuses on surgical interventions for the treatment of pediatric diseases. Services in areas such as childhood urogenital system diseases, endoscopic interventions, neonatal diseases, biliary tract and liver diseases, pediatric chest deformities, laparoendoscopic interventions, outpatient surgery (operations that do not require hospitalization such as undescended testis, hydrocele, cord cyst, inguinal hernia), pediatric oncology.

Child Health and Diseases

This unit operating in a wide area; the diseases of all individuals in the 0-18 age group are dealt with. Metabolic diseases, Stem Cell Therapy, Pediatric Hematology, Growth Hormone deficiency, puberty disorders, endocrine problems, thyroid gland diseases, childhood diabetes, allergic diseases in children, juvenile idiopathic arthritis, familial Mediterranean fever, systemic lupus erythematosus, scleroderma, Dermatomyositis, inflammatory myositis, connective tissue diseases, musculoskeletal pain, febrile diseases, and Bechet’s disease. In the neonatology branch, newborn care and treatment services are provided. Other units of the unit; Pediatric Intensive Care, Pediatric Cardiology, Social Pediatrics, Pediatric Genetic Diseases, Pediatric Neurology, Pediatric Gastroenterology, Pediatric Nephrology, Pediatric Emergency, Pediatric Infectious Diseases and Pediatric Oncology.

Child and Adolescent Mental Health and Diseases

This branch deals with the diagnosis and treatment of mental and behavioral problems in children and adolescents.

Dermatology

It provides diagnosis and treatment services for all kinds of skin diseases. Interventional procedures such as cryotherapy, electrocoterization, excisional biopsy, incisional biopsy, Wood's view are performed in the Special Procedure Polyclinic. Skin patch tests are applied in the dermatoallergy outpatient clinic. In dermatooncology and nevus monitoring outpatient clinic, nevus and tumor follow-up is performed. Sexually transmitted diseases, nail and scalp diseases are also within the scope of this branch.

Infectious Diseases

Infections are diseases caused by microorganisms. The related unit deals with the diagnosis and treatment of these diseases.

Endocrinology and Metabolism

Metabolic and endocrine system diseases are evaluated and treated in this branch. It deals with endocrine glands, functions of endocrine glands, hormones secreted from these organs and related diseases. Thyroid diseases, goiter, diabetes, hypothalamus, parathyroid, and pancreatic diseases; ovaries (testicles in men, ovaries in women), adipose tissue and adrenal gland diseases; hypertension, obesity, menstrual irregularity and increased hair growth, osteoporosis, Lipid Metabolism Diseases, High cholesterol, short stature, tumor in the glands.

It is the science that studies the effects of drugs on biological systems.

Physical therapy and rehabilitation

It deals with functional and physical disorders that occur in the nervous, musculoskeletal system. These include rheumatic diseases, chronic and acute pain, sports injuries, orthopedic rehabilitation, metabolic bone diseases, pediatric rehabilitation, and rehabilitation after burns, joint problems.

Geriatrics

It is the branch that deals with the health of the elderly. It aims to have a healthy aging process with preventive health services. It deals with acute and chronic problems that occur with old age.

Thoracic Surgery

Surgical treatment of chest diseases concerns this branch. Lung cancer, breathing problems are among them.

Chest Diseases

This branch deals with diseases of the organs in the chest cavity, except for the heart and breast. Digital imaging systems, transmission electron microscopy, histochemistry, immunohistochemistry, stereological methods, cell and tissue morphometry, spectrophotometric studies are among the areas of interest of this unit.

Internal Medicine

This branch, which is the first application address for adult health problems; It operates in a wide range from respiratory system diseases to digestive system disorders.

Occupational and Occupational Diseases Unit

It is aimed to improve workplace conditions, to train employees, to treat occupational diseases, to plan the necessary analyzes and examinations during recruitment and periodic examinations, and to manage health surveillance.

It is the unit in which organ functions are evaluated with radioactive, i.e. luminous substances.

Orthopedics and Traumatology

Creating personalized treatment programs for musculoskeletal diseases; it is the duty of this unit to provide the necessary support for the person to regain their physical competencies. It looks at joint, ligament, muscle, nerve, bone, cartilage diseases.

Pathology

It is the section where sample examinations such as biopsy are analyzed and evaluated.

Plastic Surgery - Wound Healing

Whether congenital or developed, all anomalies, function and shape problems are within the scope of this unit. The tissues are reshaped in order to improve the body image; it is ensured that the person has an anatomical and aesthetic appearance.

Radiation oncology

It is the branch that deals with the treatment of cancer disease with methods such as radiotherapy and chemotherapy.

Radiology

It is the unit where imaging techniques such as MRI, CT, and ultrasound are used for the diagnosis of diseases. Interventional radiology is also a subsidiary branch.

Rheumatology and Immunology

It deals with chronic and systemic rheumatic diseases involving connective tissue and joints and sometimes affecting internal organs. Soft tissue diseases, polymyalgia rheumatic, dermatomyositis, polymyositis, Raynaud phenomenon, scleroderma, Sjogren’s syndrome, connective tissue diseases, crystal arthritis, gout, Bechet’s disease, antiphospholipid antibody syndrome, systemic lupus erythematosus, vasculitis, psoriatic arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis.

It is the unit where genetic tests are applied, genetic diseases are detected and treated, diseases that are under risk due to genetic factors are identified and preventive measures are encouraged. It is divided into units such as Prenatal Genetics, Molecular Genetics, and Molecular Cytogenetics.

Medical Oncology

It deals with the treatment of cancer diseases. Hormone treatments, chemotherapy, immunotherapies and targeted therapies are applied in the light of current developments.

Medical Parasitology

Intestines, tissue and blood, etc. It serves to diagnose and control diseases caused by parasites.

Urology

This unit looks after diseases related to urinary system organs in children, women and men. In addition, problems related to the structure and functions of reproductive organs in male patients, diseases transmitted as a result of sexual intercourse in male patients, and problems related to reproductive health also concern urology.
