Professional Genetic Science Studies The Private Intergen Genetic Diseases Diagnosis Center, which became operational in 1999, carries out R&D with its own designs, 90% of its tests. Patient and team-centered; in-house horizontal hierarchical model and participatory management approach serves. It has a mission to spread awareness of rare diseases not only in Turkey, but also around the world.
Services
Clinical Genetics
In this unit, analyses such as chromosome analysis, DNA analysis and enzyme levels are performed in order to identify the disease.
Genetic Counseling
It includes a service to provide information to people who carry or are at risk of carrying a hereditary disease and their relatives about the course of the disease and methods of treatment, risks of recurrence and solutions.
Cytogenetics
In this laboratory, culture processes and chromosome analyses are performed from tissues such as blood, skin, amniotic fluid and CVS material in order to diagnose chromosomal diseases in the prenatal and postnatal period.
R & D Studies
Studies such as Genetic Diagnostic Kit Design, Test Development and Installation for Diagnosis and Research, and Molecular Test Design and Application are carried out.
Trainings
In this health center, practical training in all areas of laboratory and clinical working in the health centre, physicians and non-physician PhDs for postdoctoral training internship for undergraduate and graduate students and laboratory trainings, seminars and courses, staff training, and editorial work-are given training on scientific journals and medical textbooks trainings on the subject are also provided.
