Oral, Dental and Maxillofacial Surgery

It treats congenital or acquired diseases such as tissues in the jaw, face and mouth (teeth, palate, cheek and bone). Diagnosis and treatment of diseases that occur in these tissues is carried out by anesthesia in the operating room environment.

Endodontics

Endodontics, also known as root canal therapy, is applied in cases where tooth filling is insufficient. If small caries are not treated in time, they progress and spread to the pulp layer of the tooth. This is a living layer, so the nerves and vessels of the tooth are here. Severe pain occurs when the caries reaches the pulp, and root canal treatment becomes mandatory. If treatment is not applied, the inflammation progresses well at the tip of the root, and the doctor may have to pull the tooth.

Implant Treatment

This treatment protects healthy teeth while completing missing teeth. In patients who have lost most or all of their teeth, -if the bone condition allows this - a bridged (fixed) prosthesis may be preferred instead of a moving prosthesis. If the patient's bone condition is not good, implant-supported moving prostheses can be applied with the help of 2 or 4 implants. These are more conservative than normal prostheses.

Orthodontics

This branch, also defined as jaw and Tooth disorder, deals with the treatment of dental irregularities in the upper and lower jaw. Placing teeth in the jawbone is the task of this unit specialists. Apart from skeletal disorders, orthodontic treatment can be applied in all age groups. If a skeletal disorder is present due to the growth and development of the jaw, adolescence is the best time for this. The growth of the jaw is guided by orthodontic apparatus, so that the condition can be improved without the need for surgery. But it can be said that surgical orthodontic treatment is mostly a necessity in old age.

Periodontology

This unit, which deals with the treatment of all gum diseases, is responsible for restoring a healthy and aesthetic appearance of teeth.

Veneers

Porcelain veneers are obtained by applying a small amount of cutting process to the teeth behind or in front of the teeth or aesthetically bad-looking teeth. Metal supported porcelain veneers are used on the back teeth. Aesthetics are at the forefront of teeth in the anterior region. For this, full porcelain coatings or zirconium supported coatings are applied.
