A century-old hospital Private V.K.V. American Hospital was founded 100 years ago by the Vehbi Koc Foundation (V.K.V). Established in 1920 with a capacity of 45 beds, the hospital has now reached a capacity of 278 beds. About 250 thousand patients are served every year. It is the only hospital that has all of the Joint Commission International (JCI), ISO 900, Quality Certificate, ISO 14001 Environmental Management System and ISO 2700 Information Security Management System certificates.

Emergency Service

In this unit, diagnosis and treatment services are provided by medical personnel specializing in emergency medicine to patients who arrive without appointment or are brought by ambulance and need urgent medical care.
